“The Trust’s best kept secret in my view is the reciprocal visit program with other International National Trusts (INTO) which allows members of Canada’s National trust to enjoy free entry to over 1,000 historic sites worldwide. By showing a valid home membership card, you can access properties managed by partner organizations in countries like the UK, Republic of Ireland, Australia, Italy, Germany and many others. Recently I visited northwest Scotland and was pleased to visit a number of historic castles including Craithes Castle and Drum Castle, each with its own unique story and architecture. A most enjoyable day out.”
