THOROLD — Thorold’s status as a heritage heavyweight is getting bolstered, with more prestigious awards coming in addition to those already garnered for protecting and promoting the city’s rich history.

Thorold Mayor Ted Luciani announced on Oct. 6 that his office received word a day earlier that The City of Thorold will receive the annual Prince of Wales Award from the National Trust for Canada.
