As the work on The Academy condominium project in Annapolis Royal draws to a close, developer Tim Tanner has been recognized for his foresight in restoring heritage buildings by the National Trust for Canada.

Tanner was one of three Canadians featured under the title of “People to Watch” in the October issue of the National Trust for Canada’s Locale magazine.

The National Trust is a “… registered charity established in 1973 by the Government of Canada,” notes the website. “The National Trust is dedicated to promoting the conservation, understanding and appreciation of our nation’s heritage buildings, historic places and cultural landscapes.”
