2026 Next Great Save Competitors Featured in the News!

The 2026 Next Great Save competition has kicked off with a bang—votes have been coming in fast, and national media coverage has been just as strong!  

During this annual competition teams from across Canada compete for votes to win up to $65,000 in prizes, generously sponsored by Ecclesiastical Insurance. The winning team receives a grand prize of $50,000 to put towards a project that will help save and renew their historic site.  

That’s not all this competition has to offer – it also helps competitors gain media coverage on a national scale. Every day, whether through social media posts, news articles, podcast ads or videos, this competition generates awareness among Canadians about each of the twelve historic sites competing. To date, the competition has made over 300 million digital impressions!
