2022 Governors' Awards

This award recognizes the Government of Yukon, the Council of Yukon First Nations, and the Yukon Heritage Working Group for a collaborative approach to conservation that promotes the role that individuals play as stewards – Yukon’s Living Heritage Campaign. If individuals discover something that looks like it might have heritage value – historic sites and objects, archaeological artifacts, paleontological fossils and other remains, landscape features – they are encouraged to take a picture, write a description, record its location (with GPS coordinates if possible) and report the find.
