Natalie Voland
2024 Governors’ Awards
The National Trust for Canada’s Board of Governors is proud to recognize Natalie Voland for her visionary leadership in the socially-conscious re-use of heritage buildings.
Natalie Voland has been reinventing the process of real estate development over 25 years. Her roots as a social worker allow her to have a unique and purpose driven design centered outlook on development that prioritizes historical protection of civic assets while being forward thinking to use buildings to unite communities and push environmental advocacy.
A leader of the Quebec B Corp. Movement, Natalie’s companies contribute to the protection of the environment, foster social inclusion, while making market driven profit to further the economic development of Montreal. Her newest venture “Quo Vadis Capital” is investing in carbon mitigated accessible housing to address inclusion and climate change in real estate.
The National Trust for Canada’s Board of Governors has chosen to recognize Natalie Voland with a Governors’ Award for her inspired leadership in both real estate and the heritage sector, marrying heritage, social purpose and real estate development and demonstrating how Heritage Conservation can be worth the investment.
