Métis Crossing
Métis Crossing is the first major Métis cultural destination in Alberta and is a premier centre for Alberta Métis cultural interpretation, education, gatherings, and events. Sitting on 512-acres of land, comprised of river lot titles from the original Métis settlers to the region in the late 1800s, the crossing is designed to engage and excite visitors through an exploration of Métis cultural experiences. Opening in Fall 2021 is the boutique 40 room Lodge at Metis Crossing.
Métis Crossing is fully accessible.

“Metis Crossing is a cultural gathering place for reconciliation, honoring the past and future of the area and its numerous communities. This area is terrifically unique in Alberta and indeed Western Canada. It has an important and continuing role to play in facilitating inter-cultural education, partnerships, and understanding.”
