2022 Governor's Awards

Presented to Heritage BC for Setting the Bar: A Guide to Achieve New Standards for Reconciliation within the Heritage Sector. Created in 2021 with the support of an extensive group of advisors, “Setting the Bar” offers a set of ten standards and calls to action to drive heritage organizations forward, beyond conversation, to take concrete, measurable action in integrating reconciliation strategies into the sector’s daily work.  It is part of Heritage BC’s commitment to redress, reconciliation, and expanded recognition of the cultural heritage of Indigenous and culturally diverse peoples.
